IIASA researchers have analyzed the discussion on eight different conspiracy theories that was spread widely on Twitter during the pandemic. Their work makes it possible to not only estimate the number of conspiracy related tweets, but also to compare the theories among themselves and identify patterns in their discussion.

Researchers from IIASA and Wittgenstein Centre published the Fact Sheet that sheds light on the impact of the pandemic on people’s health, family dynamics, economies and migration.

The International Science Council (ISC) General Assembly (GA) is the highest authority of the Council and consists of representatives of its Members. It meets every three years. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the ISC Governing Board has taken the decision to hold the 2nd ISC General Assembly online, and to reschedule the Muscat Global Knowledge Dialogue to 2023.
