The conference brings together researchers and practitioners to share their original research results and experience in scientific software development and related new technologies. It facilitates discussions about new trends in decision support systems, tools and methodologies.

Nadejda Komendantova from the Advanced Systems Analysis program is invited to speak at the The International Urban Forum "Territory of the Future. View from the Heart of Eurasia" and gives a talk on "Monocities: challenges and models of socio-economic development and financing". Her experience was gained by analysing regional strategies of regional development of the Austrian Climate and Energy Model regions as well as from the team work (with Elena Rovenskaya, Nikita Strelkovskii and Love Ekenberg) in preparation of the Strategy of Sustainable Industrial Development for Kyrgyzstan.

Online consultation
The aim of the first consultation of the Advisory Group “Emerging trade routes between Europe and Asia” scenario-building project is to collect critical comments and suggestions of the Advisory Group Members to the envisaged methodology of the project. Several candidate global scenario frameworks pre-selected by the project team are discussed. An attempt is made to prioritize one framework to serve as an overarching framework within which regional scenarios focusing on shipping in the Arctic are positioned.
