Around 30 students accompanied by their teachers from the Japanese International School in Vienna will visit IIASA on 19 January 2024 to learn about IIASA, its history, and get an overview on systems thinking.  

Following the International Vienna Energy and Climate Forum in November 2023, IIASA researcher Benigna Boza-Kiss reflects on the contribution from the IIASA EDITS project team to this conference, which brought together experts from various disciplines to discuss multi-faceted energy demand in cities like Vienna.

Wolfgang Lutz, who will assume his tenure as IIASA Acting Director General on 1 November, will participate in the Working Group Meeting of the Federation of Austrian Industries, focusing on the competitiveness of the Lower Austrian industry sector.
