The EU Horizon Project HYway (Climate Impacts of a hydrogen economy: The pathway to knowledge) officially kicks-off! The project is investigating the effects of hydrogen emissions on the climate and the environment.
The HYWAY project, a collaborative initiative spearheaded by IIASA and leading international climate research institutions, will provide crucial insights into the role hydrogen can play in achieving global climate goals. IIASA co-leads two work packages, WP2 on the quantification of leakages and emissions and WP6 on the development of future scenarios for a hydrogen economy.
The Kick-off is hosted by CICERO Center for International Climate Research and takes place in Oslo, Norway.
