The final C4C project meeting will bring together experts and stakeholders to discuss advances in citizen science, remote sensing, forest monitoring, and biomass assessment. The programme will cover topics ranging from tree biomass data collection and forest mapping to climate change impacts, carbon accounting, and citizen science engagement.

The final C4C project meeting will be organized jointly by Austrian Academy of Sciences and the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis. The event will bring together project partners, stakeholders, and invited initiatives working at the intersection of citizen science, remote sensing, and tree biomass assessment. The meeting will showcase the main outcomes of the C4C project, including tools, methods, and applications developed to improve forest and urban tree biomass estimation. The morning session will feature presentations on tree biomass data crowdsourcing through the Tree-Quest app, 3D forest information extraction using laser scanning, forest mapping, citizen science initiatives, and biomass validation activities, followed by a panel discussion.

The afternoon session will broaden the discussion to related topics, including trees outside forests in national greenhouse gas inventories, changes in forest composition and timber harvesting, drivers of forest biomass change, and citizen science in schools. A final panel discussion will provide an opportunity to reflect on the day's insights, discuss lessons learned, and identify potential directions for future collaboration.

The meeting will serve as an exchange and networking event, connecting research, practical applications, and stakeholder perspectives to support the continued development of citizen science and remote sensing approaches for tree biomass assessment.
