The ENFORCE project consortium will meet at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) in the city of Barcelona to review the second year of the project and to develop an action plan for 2027.
Linda See will attend the third ENFORCE project consortium meeting to present progress on IIASA’s main task in the project, which is to provide citizen science support to the eight case studies that are taking place within the project. This has involved building four ENFORCE modules in Geo-Quest (for collecting data on illegal fires, smells, waste, forests, and water quality) and doing an inventory of the tools and data sharing in each of the case studies. NODES has also been active in helping case studies understand how they can use Earth Observation in collaboration with EARSC, the main partner leading this task.
