The International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) in collaboration with the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, the International Network of Government Science Advice (INGSA) and the Global Network of Science and Technology Advisors in Foreign Ministries, organized a high-level international dialogue on science diplomacy.

A delegation of 15 Korea University representatives, led by long term IIASA collaborator Woo-Kyun Lee, visits IIASA for a one-day workshop. 

In recent years, crowdsourcing, which involves recruiting members of the public to help collect data, has been tremendously helpful to provide researchers with unique and rich datasets, while also engaging the public in the process of scientific discovery. In a new study, an international team of researchers explored how crowdsourcing projects can make the most effective use of volunteer contributions.

The IIASA Retirement Benefits Plan is established as a contributory savings and investment scheme. The objective of the Plan is to provide members with a capital sum upon their retirement, or early retirement, or upon leaving the Plan.  The Plan does not pay pensions or enter into contracts of annuity or insurance.  Further specific RBP information is available only internally to IIASA,  and  via the IIASA portal.

IIASA is organizing a policy simulation that will provide participants with an opportunity to explore climate migration policy in Europe. Players will take on the roles of political party representatives in Austria with strongly differentiated positions and the goal of reaching compromises on migration policy.
