Several IIASA researchers will represent the Institute at the upcoming European Researchers’ Night in St. Pölten, where they will bring their research closer to the public and inspire young people to discover the world of science.

European Researchers’ Night is a Europe-wide initiative, with events taking place across the continent to showcase research, connect scientists with the public, and spark curiosity about science and its role in our everyday lives.

Ryan Tan and David Hehl Leoncio will showcase FeliXSim, a web-based tool that enables users to explore global food scenarios and understand their impacts on social and environmental systems. The tool allows users to explore how their individual choices and behavioural changes can contribute to addressing global sustainability challenges.

Karl Scheifinger will present Climate Change in Austria: Facts, Impacts, and Solutions, highlighting key findings from the Second Austrian Assessment Report on Climate Change (AAR2) and what they tell us about climate change and its impacts in Austria.

Get your ticket and join them in St. Pölten for an evening of science, discovery, and exchange.
