Africa is taking a leading role in shaping global dialogues by empowering researchers, institutions, and policymakers to influence decision-making and co-develop evidence, based solutions to shared challenges. Through the Sub-Saharan African Regional Member Organization (SSARMO), IIASA, and the National Research Foundation (NRF) have made significant strides across the continent, by contributing to innovative solutions in priority areas while also building capacity through initiatives such as the South Africa Systems Analysis Center (SASAC) and the South African Young Scientists Summer Program (SA-YSSP).
