The IIASA Tools for Raising and UnderStanding Trust in systems science through citizen engagement (TRUST) Strategic Initiative is organizing a 1.5 days' workshop at IIASA. The workshop will take place on 30 November and 1 December 2023 and is part of the activities of the Strategic Initiatives Program.
In this engaging and interactive event, participants will acquire invaluable insights into the diverse participatory research approaches employed at IIASA, spanning from participatory data collection and analysis to modeling and decision-making techniques. A standout feature of the workshop is its dedication to exploring how participatory research approaches can cultivate and strengthen trust, serving as a crucial bridge between scientific endeavors and society at large.
The workshop will take place on November 30 and December 1, 2023, at the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) in Laxenburg, Austria.
The workshop warmly welcomes participation from researchers affiliated with IIASA as well as from the broader research community. We encourage passionate individuals from various backgrounds to join and contribute their unique perspectives, fostering a diverse and collaborative learning environment.
