The IIASA Population and Just Societies (POPJUS) Program is presenting new demographic research at the 6th Asian Population Association Conference (APA) in Kathmandu, Nepal.
This 6th Conference will stress the interrelationship among social, economic and demographic components, drawing on the recent demographic data and analysis to examine specific issues of population. The conference further aims to exchange research findings and improve the discipline of Asian demography. It also intends to draw the attention of government, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and Civil Society and promote the debate of policy options among population specialists.
