As part of the 2025 K-Girls Global Program, supported by the Korean government, a group of 30 outstanding female university students majoring in STEM fields will be visiting IIASA.

While participating in the Europe-Korea Conference on Science and Technology, that will be held in Vienna, the students will visits key science and technology institutions in the region. The students are particularly eager to learn about IIASA’s mission, history, and interdisciplinary research, and they are especially hoping for the opportunity to interact with Korean female scientists currently working at IIASA.

Tentative program:

 9:00 –  9:10 Welcome and introduction
 9:10 –  9:40 Brief presentation introducing IIASA (foundation, research areas, international collaboration, etc.)
 9:40 – 10:10 Q&A session and discussion with women scientists at IIASA (including Korean women scientists)
10:10 – 11:00 Historical tour of the castle
