IIASA offers a range of (bilateral) postdoc opportunities for early career researchers.

These include fully funded research positions of up to two years to study topics related to the IIASA research agenda. Information on-call openings and application deadlines can be found below.

While IIASA is aware of sensitivities around collaborating with certain countries against the backdrop of ongoing geopolitical conflicts, we also remain committed to the Institute's founding principles of acting as a bridge across political divides by providing an ecosystem where scientists can work together to address issues of global concern, thereby keeping communication channels open for capacity development and scientific exchange through initiatives like our various joint postdoctoral programs.
