Summer School for Systems Modeling

Goal is to equip participants with a solid understanding of modeling practices and limitations of models. The two-week course is designed for Master’s and PhD students, as well as post-doctoral researchers who wish to use or develop models broadly related to the sustainability agenda. LAMASUS / BrightSpace / Tools4CAP Summer School

The LAMASUS / BrightSpace / Tools4CAP Summer School offers an immersive experience to gain cutting-edge skills in econometric, biophysical, and GLOBIOM modelling, tailored to assess the impacts of European agricultural policies. This program provides practical training from passionate LAMASUS researchers. 2024 summer schools

Water Resources Modeling Summer School:
CWatM Level A1

This virtual summer school guides the application of the water resources and hydrological model CWatM (Community Water Model). Participants will run CWatM for a large basin, describe its water cycle, compare with satellite imagery, and calibrate the model. Successful assignments award a CWatM Level A1 certification.

Online: 5 days of self-paced learning with optional virtual Q&A sessions twice daily between June 24 – July 10

Shaping the Future of Rural Africa: Online Training to Navigate the Water-Energy-Land Nexus

Online training in planning, scenarios and policy analysis of the water-energy-land nexus for equitable development in rural Africa.

Two courses, consisting of multiple modules, are on offer: RE4AFAGRI Dashboards & business models and RE4AFAGRI nexus scientific modeling framework. Participants may select a single or multiple modules.
