IIASA’s Population and Just Societies Program, in collaboration with The College of Population Studies at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand, is pleased to announce its upcoming annual intensive training course titled "Demographic Analysis with Applications to Aging and Health".

Professor Sergei Scherbov, an expert in demographic computer applications and aging research, will lead the course. The course is scheduled from September 16 to 27, 2024 at the College of Population Studies, in Bangkok, Thailand.

Each day, participants can expect six-hour sessions comprising lectures and hands-on practices, tailored to enhance their skills in advanced computer-based demographic analysis, specifically focusing on aging and health.
The program integrates cutting-edge approaches to measuring aging based on research conducted in this field at IIASA.
Over the years, the training program has seen approximately 300 individuals complete it, gaining valuable skills and certifications.
