IIASA at the Seventeenth IAMC Annual Meeting 2024

The event will take place in person, with a portfolio of online events as part of the program.

Our team looks forward to contributing to the Seventeenth IAMC Annual Meeting with our expertise in integrated assessment and sustainability modeling. We’ll be sharing insights through presentations, poster sessions, and leading discussions on key topics such as decarbonization, climate justice, sustainable development, and technology integration.

Our speakers will delve into essential topics, from circular economy pathways for global mobility (Gamze Ünlü) and balanced climate adaptation for Pakistan (Muhammad Awais) to the policy implications of solar energy (Siddharth) and standards for decent living in development (Jarmo Kikstra). The sessions also highlight cutting-edge modeling work on inequality in low-carbon lifestyles (Alessio Mastrucci), feedback mechanisms in climate impacts (Volker), and co-benefits of air quality modeling in national carbon neutrality pathways (Younha Kim).
