As part of the 50th anniversary celebratory activities of IIASA, the Israel Committee for IIASA and other Israeli partners in collaboration with IIASA are convening a scientific symposium titled “Sustainability Pathways empowered by Systems Analysis."

The symposium will take place on 28-29 November 2022 at Tel Aviv University in Israel. It will feature a keynote presentation on “Systems analysis of population, education and environment interactions” and a series of panel discussions on the demographics, biodiversity and agriculture, water, energy and transport nexus.

The event will bring together the community of researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to highlight the power of systems analysis and to discuss new frontiers in this context. It will particularly focus on the four above mentioned topics of parallel sessions.
