The General Assembly 2026 of the European Geosciences Union (EGU) will take place at the Austria Center Vienna (ACV) in Vienna, Austria and online from 3 - 8 May 2026.
The EGU General Assembly 2026 brings together geoscientists from all over the world to one meeting covering all disciplines of the Earth, planetary, and space sciences. As part of the General Assembly of the European Geosciences Union (EGU), the Austrian Academy of Sciences and the EGU are jointly organizing a public event that addresses current and interesting topics in geosciences. This year's public lecture is dedicated to geological mapping in extreme environments.
The event (in German) will take place on Tuesday, May 5, 2025, 18:00 at the Ceremonial Hall of the Academy, Dr. Ignaz Seipel-Platz 2, 1010 Vienna.
