Biography
Ansa Heyl is the Science Communication Lead in the IIASA Communications and External Relations Department. In this role, she helps to shape and implement the Institute’s communication strategy, improve the understanding of IIASA research, and position the Institute as a leader in systems analysis. She collaborates closely with colleagues across the Institute to provide scientific writing and editing support to ensure the widest possible dissemination of work done by IIASA researchers.Prior to joining IIASA in January 2018, she worked as Science Writer and Editor at the University of Pretoria in South Africa, where she regularly wrote feature articles and press releases on research done at the institution.
