Systemic Risk and Resilience (SYRR) assesses risk and resilience across socio-ecological systems to support innovative, acceptable and effective decisions on risk management, resilience and adaptation.

Austria is the host country of IIASA. The Austrian Academy of Sciences is the National Member Organization (NMO) representing Austria and entrusts the Austrian IIASA Committee with oversight of IIASA. 

Brazil was a member of IIASA in the years 2011-2024, represented first by the Center for Strategic Studies and Management (CGEE) and later by the Brazilian Federal Agency for Support and Evaluation of Graduate Education (CAPES).

The National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) is China’s National Member Organization (NMO).

The Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT) is Egypt’s National Member Organization (NMO).
