The SEP is envisaged as a re-evaluation of the architecture of the SSPs, guided by a community-based process. A number of activities are underway for 2026, and the scientific community is asked to provide critical input.

The SEP survey is currently underway and will remain open until the end of 2026 (https://sep.du.edu).

We will take stock of data collected until June 24. At that point, we will synthesize the preliminary feedback to present at a community webinar scheduled for June 30.

To accommodate our international research community, the webinar will be held at 7:00 AM Mountain Daylight Time (MDT), which corresponds to 9:00 AM Eastern Time (EDT), 3:00 PM Central European Summer Time (CEST), and 9:00 PM Standard Time in Beijing.
