IIASA researchers contributed to a project of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), working in partnership with scientists from other renowned institutions, to help the government of Indonesia advance actionable agrifood systems policies based on rigorous scientific assessment.

Every summer, IIASA turns into a buzzing hub of knowledge seekers, and this year is no different! The AFE FLAM team welcomed three interns and three YSSP fellows this summer and we took a moment to chat with Rasheed, Adrian, Laura, and Lawrence about their experiences and goals.

IIASA Director General Albert van Jaarsveld and Interim Deputy Director General for Science Wolfgang Lutz, recently met with H.E. Damos Dumoli Agusman, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Indonesia to Austria, Slovenia, the United Nations, and other International Organizations in Vienna, to discuss the ongoing collaboration between IIASA and Indonesia.
