This event will take place on Thursday, June 8th, from 13:00 to 18:00 at the Bonn Marriott Hotel. The three projects included in the Co-Creation workshop are ELEVATE, ENGAGE, and COMMITTED, organizations focused on climate policy and reaching goals set by the 2015 Paris Agreement.

ELEVATE is a project dedicated to supporting Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and national climate policies focused on achieving net-zero emissions in line with the Paris Agreement. ENGAGE is an IIASA-led project exploring the feasibility of pathways that can meet the objectives of the Paris Agreement. COMMITTED aims to enhance sharing of good practices on greenhouse gas emissions modelling between EU and Asian countries.

Elina Brutschin, IIASA, along with Sean Jiaming Low, Aarhus University, will host an interactive group discussion on justice and climate modelling. Another discussion on net-zero targets will simultaneously take place, this one led by Detlef van Vuuren and Isabela Schmidt Tagomori, Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency. In these breakout rooms, you will have the opportunity to Collaborate with others, listen to new perspectives, and contribute your own thoughts.

The venue will host other discussions as well, such as "Good practice policies to increase ambition for 2030 and beyond" with experts from NewClimate and Schmidt Tagomori, discussing policies to accelerate climate action towards net zero, and "Feasibility of decarbonization pathways" presented by Christoph Bertram, Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research.

Included in the agenda are also opportunities for networking and socializing among like minded scholars.
