The talk by Nadejda Komendantova describes the value-oriented prioritization approach. It is a preference-based approach that relies on techniques and models from the field of decision analysis and aims to elicit users’ values by studying their preferences on artificial intelligence tools to deal with the issues of misinformation in social media.

The values include trust in the tool, critical thinking for making users think twice before sharing or trusting a news item, and transparency in how judgments are reflected in the tools.
