The European Geosciences Union (EGU) General Assembly 2021 will bring together geoscientists from all over the world to one meeting covering all disciplines of the Earth, planetary, and space sciences. As per last year and in place of its annual General Assembly in Vienna, the EGU will host the meeting fully online.

This year's theme is "Engage - Discover - Inspire": An exciting benefit of the virtual meeting will be to allow Earth, planetary, and space scientists to engage with a broader and more diverse audience than is possible during a traditional in-person meeting. The EGU General Assembly is synonymous with exploration and discovery. It is also a platform for early career Scientists, who often attend the annual meeting seeking new ideas.

To arrange interviews with IIASA researchers please contact the IIASA Press Office.

Below is a selection of IIASA participation. Please visit the EGU program page for full details.
