Dr. Rossberg's research interests cover a broad variety of problems addressing the theory and phenomenology of complex systems, including self-organized spatio-temporal structures, problems of statistics and time-series analysis, the hydrodynamics of complex fluids, or the foundations of complex-systems theory itself. Since 2003 he has become attracted by problems of ecological and evolutionary theory. Currently he is working on a general stochastic theory of evolutionary macroecology.
