Roman Hoffmann joined the webinar "Droughts and Water (In)Security in a Changing Climate" as a panelist, hosted by Cell Press.

Droughts, worsened by climate change, pose a major threat to global water security, impacting agriculture, food supply, human health, and vulnerable communities. With rising temperatures and increasingly erratic weather, drought frequency and severity are growing, putting pressure on water resources and driving some populations to migrate. This Cell Press Forum on Sustainability explored the complex effects of drought on water systems and discussed strategies for building resilience and ensuring a more sustainable and equitable water future.
