ERLENS will be the new Research Priority Area of the University of Amsterdam, aiming to stimulate and initiate research across faculties that maps the energy transition in the Netherlands and Europe against the SDGs beyond Dutch borders.

Research Group Leader Shonali Pachauri has been invited as a keynote speaker at the formal Launch Event of Energy transition through the lens of Sustainable Developments Goals (ENLENS).

ERLENS is one of the interfaculty research priority areas of the University of Amsterdam, uniting researchers working on economic, environmental, technological, social, political, and business aspects of the energy system, the energy transition, and Sustainable Developments Goals.

Pachauri will talk about the main energy related SDGs challenges for the coming decade.
