Challenges in the Amazon benefiting from systems analysis
This presentation will focus on a new concept of sustainable development for the Amazon, which is strongly based on a systemic view of the integral potential of a species-diverse ecosystem to give rise to a novel development paradigm. It will also address the challenges in the Amazon impact processes outside the region and how the sustainability solutions identified can be transferred to other regions in the world.
