The theme of the forum was “Bridging the Gap and Promoting Global Partnership." The event brought together a wide variety of participants with the aim of forming new partnerships for advancing clean energy and sustainable energy solutions worldwide.
IIASA researchers Nebojsa Nakicenovic, Florian Kraxner, Shonali Pachauri, and Ping Yowargana took part in the event.
The IIASA Ecosystems Services and Management program is a partner in an online platform Indonesia Centre of Excellence for Clean Energy which was launched at the opening session of the forum. The BeWhere Model, developed at IIASA and modified for specific analysis in Indonesia, is the center of the platform's analytical tool.

IIASA Deputy Director General Nebojsa Nakicenovic framed the high-level discussion before intervention from ministers and delegations.

Energy for the sustainability of all
The session will be chaired by Professor Kuntoro Mangkusubroto, the IIASA council member from Indonesia, and IIASA Deputy Director General Nebojsa Nakicenovic. IIASA energy access expert Shonali Pachauri will also speak in the session.

Parallel Sessions I: Promoting Clean Energy Technology
IIASA Ecosystems Services and Management Program Deputy Director Florian Kraxner spoke in a parallel session on bioenergy, on integrated perspective for bioenergy and CCS. He also presented on participatory analytical tool for integrated clean energy assessment.
