Join us for this insightful webinar titled, Exploring research that tackles the UN Sustainable Development Goals and evidencing, featuring IIASA Deputy Director General Karen Lips.

Of the very real challenges that the world faces today, be it climate change, pandemics, or sustainable economic growth, these are clearly articulated in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Each of the 17 goals demand research and innovative solutions and are unlikely to be solved by individual researchers. They require collaboration between problem owners, teams of multidisciplinary researchers, cooperation across national boundaries, and collective endeavor.

Three experts from government and academia will share their perspectives on the assessment and evaluation of the impact of SDG research, followed by a discussion on how the evaluation of broader impact is important to help us understand the progress, best practice, and evidence sources that can help demonstrate impact towards the UN SDG Goals.
