Daniela Weber will participate in a webinar discussion on the state of healthy aging and prevention across Europe organized by the International Longevity Centre UK.
In this webinar, the Healthy Aging and Prevention Index will be used to explore what health and well-being looks like in different European countries. The index, which ranks 121 countries against six indicators: life span, health span, work span, income, environmental performance, and happiness, allows to compare how sustainable different countries are, both in terms of longer lives and the extent to which their governments are investing in efforts to prevent ill health and support healthy aging.
This webinar will inform a policy document to advocate better commitments from European policymakers on healthy aging and prevention. With less than a year to go until the European Parliament elections, the aim is to highlight the key challenges and opportunities to politicians in Brussels and beyond.
