IIASA Program Director and Principal Research Scholar Steffen Fritz will be attending a joint meeting to discuss the potential collaboration between JRC and partners of the Transparent Monitoring project.
In particular, the conversation will aim to explore how the Transparent Monitoring project (within which the Transparent Monitoring Platform was developed) can support the EU’s zero deforestation and traceability ambitions and the EU forest observatory. It will be furthermore discussed how current IIASA activities such as the current Global Forest Management layer1 and planned upcoming versions of it can support the observatory.
