Biannually, the National Research Foundation of Korea provides funding for up to 24 months. The next call will open in 2021.
Candidates have to apply to both NRF (on the NRF website) and IIASA .
The IIASA application procedure consists of two parts:
1. Completion of an online application form.
2. Candidates are required to submit a research proposal, which will form the basis for a co-designed research agenda that couples their own interests with the IIASA research agenda.
• To find the program suitable for your research please view our research page.
• When you have formulated a proposal please contact the relevant program representatives.
This is vital to discuss research ideas and their relevance to IIASA and to ensure realistic research plans and expectations on the part of both IIASA and the applicant.
IIASA selection criteria:
Applications are currently closed and will reopen in early 2021. Please keep checking our website for updates on the upcoming call.
For specific questions regarding your proposal please contact the relevant program representatives.
