Biography

Tahereh Zobeidi is a researcher in the Cooperation and Transformative Governance Research Group of the IIASA Advancing Systems Analysis Program, a role she has held since December 2021. With an academic foundation and a focus on interdisciplinary research, her work addresses critical global challenges, including environmental behaviors, disaster risk reduction management, and climate policy.

Zobeidi employs behavioral change theories and environmental psychology to investigate individual perceptions and behaviors, aiming to generate insights that inform effective policymaking and enhance community resilience. Her research also explores the impact of misinformation on public attitudes toward sustainability and climate adaptation, underscoring the importance of evidence-based communication strategies.

Actively engaged in projects under the Horizon Europe framework, she contributes to numerous initiatives such as CORE, Adaptation AGORA, and MEDiate, among others. These projects focus on addressing pressing issues like climate change, sustainable development, and societal resilience.
