Biography
Nadia Steiber joined the World Population (POP) Program as a Research Scholar in January 2014. She is also a Senior Researcher at the Institute for Advanced Studies (IHS) in Vienna. She holds a doctoral degree in sociology from Nuffield College, Oxford University. From October 2013 to February 2018 she was an Assistant Professor at the University of Vienna (Department of Economic Sociology). From September 2009 to August 2012, she was a postdoctoral research fellow at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy (Max Weber Programme & Marie Curie Intra-European Fellowship).Her research interests are in the sociology of work and the life course. Her current research at IIASA is within the ERC Re-Ageing Project led by Sergei Scherbov
