Biography
Michaela Rossini joined IIASA in 2011 and serves as the Head of the Library and Knowledge Resources Unit. Michaela has worked in libraries for over 20 years gaining vast experience in information retrieval, collection building, management of online resources and open access.Prior to IIASA she was a senior reference librarian and deputy head of the information retrieval department at the University Library in Innsbruck, Austria and a project manager for specialist libraries at the Vienna University Library of Economics and Business, Austria.
Michaela has a PhD in Classical Archeology and a MSc in Library and Information Studies, both from Innsbruck University, Austria.
