Biography

Lovisa Kuehnle-Nelson is a researcher in the Pollution Management Research Group of the IIASA Energy, Climate, and Environment Program. Her main responsibilities involve importing and maintaining macroeconomic and non-CO2 data, including the quantification of EU member states’ National Energy and Climate Plans. Currently, her research focus lies in the social and environmental costing of EU climate policies for the Horizon Europe project CATALYSE.

Kuehnle-Nelson holds a master’s degree in Environmental Sciences and Policy from Central European University and a bachelor’s degree in Geography and Politics from the University of Edinburgh. Previously, she worked at the Scottish Centre for Administrative Data Research where she contributed to the Scottish Longitudinal Study.
