Biography
Ke Yu is a research scholar in the Exploratory Modeling of Human-natural Systems Research Group of the IIASA Advancing Systems Analysis Program. Her current research focuses on the radiative forcing of albedo change induced by land cover change, as well as quantifying the related uncertainty. This work is conducted under the framework of the CLARiTY project, which aims to reduce global carbon budget uncertainties. In 2025, she completed her PhD at the University of Paris-Saclay. Her primary research focus was on analyzing the biophysical impact of management practices at the European scale, based on the machine learning, remote sensing, and land surface model ORCHIDEE-CROP.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing tennis, and rock climbing. She enjoys connecting with nature and is heavily inspired by it.
