Biography

Ivelina Georgieva joined the Novel Data Ecosystems for Sustainability (NODES) Research Group of the IIASA Advancing Systems Analysis Program as a research assistant in 2019. She has a background in applied linguistics.

She has participated in numerous Geo-Wiki campaigns since 2016 gaining experience in land cover and land use validation. After joining NODES, she took on the role of community manager for the Geo-Wiki platform. Currently, she also supports the team with a variety of research tasks within different areas, including literature reviews, project management, and communication.
