Biography
Dahlia Domian joined IIASA's Ecosystems Services and Management Program (ESM) as a Group and Project Officer for the Earth Observation Systems Group (EOS) in in October 2014.Before coming to IIASA, Ms. Domian worked on various projects with roles in both research and project coordination. As a consultant for a US-based firm focused on financial inclusion, she helped develop, implement, and supervise a national survey on access to financial services among low-income households in Brazil. While at Tufts University, she conducted research with Fletcher faculty to determine the feasibility of implementing mobile phones for information transfer among small farmers in Mozambique. During her affiliation with CMPartners, a US-based conflict management consultancy, she developed and managed internal financial and program processes. In addition, she was a Fulbright Scholar in Brazil, and holds an MA in international development from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.
Within EOS, Dahlia is the primary point of contact for internal and external project related issues. She coordinates and monitors project processes, and provides research support and development for scientific initiatives.
