Biography
Adrienne Etard is a research scholar in the Biodiversity, Ecology, and Conservation Research Group of the IIASA Biodiversity and Natural Resources Program. She is interested in understanding how human pressures affect species and ecosystems. Her current project focuses on the impacts of wind power plants on biodiversity. Before joining IIASA, she worked on assessing how different species respond to anthropogenic threats, in particular land-use and climate change. She is also interested in the interlinkages between food systems and biodiversity.
She holds a PhD in Ecology from University College London, UK, an MSc from Imperial College London, and a Diplome d’ingenieur from AgroParisTech in France.
