Biography
Adriana Gomez-Sanabria is a research scholar in the Pollution Management Research Group of the IIASA Energy, Climate, and Environment Program. She is an Environmental Engineer, with a Master of Science in Forestry, and a Doctoral Degree in Natural Science with a focus on sustainability and waste management with more than eleven years’ experience in emission inventories and modeling of baseline and mitigation scenarios for different countries. She is an expert in waste statistics and the development of strategies to adopt sustainable waste management systems, with in-depth knowledge of the waste related EU-Directives and environmental regulations. She is also a specialist in the collection, management, analysis, and interpretation of large volumes of data, and has expert knowledge of different reporting frameworks such as National Inventory Reports (NIR), Informative Inventory Reports (IIR), and Sustainability Frameworks.Last update: 02 DEC 2022
