Christiane Pohn-Hufnagl

Biography

Christiane Pohn-Hufnagl joined the IIASA executive team as Chief Operations Officer (COO) in July 2020. Prior to joining IIASA, she worked for ten years at the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA), an international organization based in Laxenburg, Austria, as Chief of Staff and Head of General Services, and for the last year as Officer-in-Charge of this international organization. Before joining IACA, she headed the Unit of Work and Social Law within the Personnel Marketing Department at the Austrian Ministry of Defense, where she was also a lecturer of European and Constitutional Law at the Officers Academy.

She has a master’s degree in Law from the University of Graz, Austria, a master’s degree in Political Sciences from the University of Vienna, and a Diploma in Controlling.
