The Delegation of Innovation - and data Laboratory (IDlab) of the Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate of the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management visited IIASA to exchange knowledge and strengthen collaboration with the institute.
The Head of IDlab, Corline Koolhaas led the delegation, accompanied by Jasper van Vliet, IDlab Chief Data Scientist, and over 20 other delegates, to meet with IIASA Director General Albert van Jaarsveld and IIASA researchers from the Advancing Systems Analysis Program (ASA), Energy, Climate, and Environment Program (ECE), and Population and Just Societies Program (POPJUS).
The Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate works at improving safety, confidence and sustainability regarding transport, infrastructure, environment and housing. As part of the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, they are committed to creating sustainable solutions for the improvement of mobility access and effective water management.
