Biography
Anna Repo is a visiting researcher in the Integrated Biosphere Futures Research Group of the IIASA Biodiversity and Natural Resources Program, who also works at the Natural Resources Institute Finland. Her research aims to find solutions on how to protect and manage land for both climate change mitigation and biodiversity conservation. She has expertise in forest carbon cycle modeling, climate impact assessment, modeling of ecosystem services and biodiversity, and the sustainability of bioenergy. She has also provided decision support to climate policymakers at national and EU level. She holds a Doctor of Science degree in Systems Analysis and Operations Research from Aalto University Finland, and a master's degree in Environmental Science from University of Jyväskylä, Finland.Last update: 28 MAR 2024
