During this event hosted by the University of Southern California you will hear keynote addresses from Hoesung Lee, the former Chair of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, and one of the Paris Agreement’s lead negotiators.
Panelists featuring representatives from industry, academia and the public sectors, including IIASA's Nebojsa Nakicenovic, former Deputy Director General/CEO, will discuss emerging solutions in three critical areas: energy and technology, food and water, and behavioral change.
The 'Food and Water Nexus' panel will include Michael Obersteiner, Principal Research Scholar at IIASA, while Detlof von Winterfeldt, former Director of IIASA (2009-2012), will be moderating the 'Energy and Transportation Nexus' panel.
