Joeri Rogelj, a researcher in IIASA's Energy program and at ETH Zurich, spoke to 

 Vienna's FM4: Reality Check radio show about the new report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. Rogelj is an author on the report which was released last Friday.

Joeri Rogelj’s research examines the uncertainties of emission scenarios, and the connections and interactions of climate system uncertainties with technological and societal factors. His current projects include the study climate impacts under very low emission scenarios, and the integration of knowledge for the achievement of multiple sustainability objectives. 

Dr. Rogelj first joined the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) in 2011 as a participant of the Young Scientists Summer Program. Currently, he is a Post-doctoral Researcher at the Institute of Atmospheric and Climate Science of ETH Zurich, Switzerland, and affiliated with the Energy Program at IIASA as a part-time Research Scholar.
