These scenarios will provide input for model calculations of the hemispheric transport of pollutants, and help to identify the benefits of coordinated hemispheric action on air pollution.
The workshop is organized under the auspices of the Task Forces on Hemispheric Transport of Air Pollutants (HTAP) and Integrated Assessment Modelling (TFIAM) of the Convention on Long-range Transboundary Air Pollution (LRTAP), in cooperation with the US-Environmental Protection Agency (US-EPA).
