Asian Population Association Conference 2012

World Population Program representation at the 2nd Asian Population Association Conference

The main theme of the APA 2012 conference was the interrelated character of social, economic and demographic trends, drawing on the latest demographic data and analysis to examine specific issues of change.

About 600 participants, including researchers from universities, managers from government organizations and NGOs, and other experts contributed to the issues under discussion, among them more than 14 members of the World Population Program.
